The BMX New Zealand Board is pleased to announce the appointment of the following people who have volunteered their time to manage & coach the BMXNZ Teams for 2016/2017.
Senior DEVO Team Coach – Victoria Hill
Lots of you will know Vic, she is an ex-elite racer, excellent coach & registered Nurse. Based in New Plymouth and is looking forward to developing the team to take on the higher level of riding in NZ & AUS.
Senior DEVO Team Manager – Susan McOnie
An experienced & passionate BMX volunteer, Susan has been the manager for the last three teams & knows the in’s & out’s of racing in Australia. She is keen to see how we can gain more learnings with the new DEVO team format.
Worlds Challenge & non-HP Team Manager – Susan Walker
Our local legend & manager extraordinaire, Sue has been our Team Manager for many Worlds expeditions. Her knowledge & experience give our team added benefit when travelling & dealing with foreign countries. The task for 2017 will be interesting with a large team expected to travel to the USA.
We wish these people the best in an evolving & exciting time within the sport of BMX in New Zealand.
