Taupō BMX Club is proud to have made BMX history in New Zealand by being the first to live stream every race to the world.
All the replays are available online too – www.dreamlive.nz/demand with all the finals cut and uploaded to Taupō BMX YouTube account.
On Saturday over 2,500 people watched live and on Sunday, we had over 1800 people watching the live stream from all over the world. There was over 10,500 page views over the weekend.
10 days out from Norths, there had been over 1350 unique views of the on demand replay service from 14 countries. A total of 740 hours of pure bmx racing had been viewed on demand.
I am pleased to hear that other clubs are already looking into this as an option and I fully recommend Peter, Brock and Shawn from AVPeople here in Taupō!
