Team Manager, Challenge Class
2015 UCI BMX World Championships Heusden-Zolder, Belgium – 18 – 25 July 2015
BMX New Zealand is looking for a calm and organised individual to take on the role of Team Manager for the New Zealand challenge riders and non-high performance championship riders at this year’s event.
The ideal candidate would:
- Have some experience of World Championship events
- Be a good communicator
- Remain calm under pressure and work through requirements methodically
- Be available from March 2015 – July 2015 to manage inquiries, team uniform ordering and distribution
- Organise and distribute information before and during the event
- Able to work long days and be on call to all NZL challenge riders.
- Able to attend the Team Managers meetings at the event
- Able to liaise with BMX officials, BikeNZ, parents and riders in a professional manner
- Have some knowledge or understanding of UCI rules and regulations and up-skill in this area prior to the event
This is a volunteer role.
The person chosen to be team manager would be supported when taking on this role by experienced New Zealand Officials.
