New Zealand rising BMX star, Jessie Smith has continued her winning ways in Europe.
The Schick Civil Construction Performance Hub rider from Hamilton won the junior women’s final in the latest round of the European Cup in Sarrians, in the south of France today.
She was unbeaten on the Round 8 competition, winning all three motos, quarter, semi and the final where she needed a photo finish to get the nod over Swiss rider Nadine Aberhard.
On the previous day Jessie was top seed from her section and won her semifinal but was caught in a melee on the first corner and had to settle for seventh.
Her next big challenge will be rounds five and six of the UCI Supercross World Cup in Paris.
