BMZNZ has been working hard to keep the sport informed as quickly as possible with the changes that are happening within the sport and our country over the last few days. Especially with the view of giving those with travel bookings, the opportunity to transfer and alter as needed.
As a result of yesterday’s postponement of the BMX Nationals, BMXNZ with the NAC BMX Club has now defined the preferred date for this event.
2020 FIRST Windows & Doors BMXNZ National Championship 24-25th October 2020 (Labour Weekend)
This date is the preferred date and will be dependent on the situation at that point in time. Any date set will be tentative based on the advice given by the NZ Government or the Ministry of Health. But in reviewing the date chosen, the scientific models have shown a tailing off of the infection rates after 3/4mths. Labour Weekend is eight months away.
BMXNZ will update the flyer & dates online inline with the date above. More information will be supplied, as it becomes available.

With the change of date, do we all have to re-enter for nationals?
No – your entry still stands
