BMXNZ Nationals – Officiating Volunteers

BMXNZ Nationals – Officiating Volunteers

We all know that our sport can not be completed without the continual support of volunteers.

The BMXNZ National Championships is less than 10 weeks away and we are searching for Volunteers in all areas of officiating.

Mark Inia and myself thank those persons that have already offered their support to officiate at the upcoming Nationals in Christchurch. Can you please make contact with your Head of Department or myself to confirm your assistance if you haven’t already done so.

Level 1/Club Commissaires who are planning on coming to Nationals we would like to team you up with an experienced person to assist on the track. This opportunity will give you a better understanding of the rules and knowledge that you can take away with you free of charge. The more helpers we get the better. We will have a team of highly experienced officials at the Nationals that are only willing to share their knowledge for the betterment of the sport.

If you have not yet been contacted and would like to help out and develop your experience as an official in Staging, Starting, Track, Catching/Ushering, Public Relations, Commentating and Points please contact me by 13th September 2020.

If you are new to the sport and would like to help out let me know so we can start training you in the area of your interest.

If your Club/Region is wanting key personnel trained in specific areas for future events. Please contact me so I can team you up with someone who specialises in that area.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Tony Nelson
National Officiating Director
BMX New Zealand Inc.
