BMXNZ MEDIA RELEASE: On behalf of BMX New Zealand I would like to announce Boyd Nelson to the role of Championship Selector on the BMX Selection Panel.
The Panel is made up of the Cycling New Zealand National BMX Coach and a BMX New Zealand appointed selector, with the assistance of the Cycling New Zealand High Performance Director. The primary role of the selection panel is to select New Zealand Championship BMX riders for the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Boyd has huge experience in BMX and has a passion to help riders excel on a local level and now on the world stage.
BMX New Zealand is focused on developing a clear progression for the performance pathway to selection and supports Boyd in working with Cycling New Zealand as part of that process.
